To reduce the starting current and not affect the grid, the AC asynchronous motor is usually started by reducing the voltage. Voltage is usually reduced by using the reactor or the auto-transformer. The start process of the AC motor is very short (from several seconds to two minutes in normal cases). After it is started, the reactor or auto-transformer used for reducing the voltage will be removed. This product is designed according to the start characteristics of high voltage asynchronous motor. The power of the motor is 220~1,400 kW.
